"Am I surprised to see Gervinho perform so well? Of course not. I think he could be a lot better because there are some things he needs to improve," Garcia said as quoted by Football Italia.
"The most important thing he needs the trust of the coaches and his teammates, because he said this week that when he gets the ball, he plays to provide assists or scoring. Everything went very well for him, and Roma," added the French coach .
Gervinho contributed two goals for Roma in the game. He also moved swiftly to various parts of the field and make the defense Napoli panic.
"I give praise to Gervinho who scored two good goals., But, I hope he does not make a goal in the second leg," said Benitez.
